Body Type Based Vata Pitta Diet
When we want to lose some weight we tends to search for a new and modern way of losing weight because we think that if we used the new wand modern way we could get to lose weight quicker. There is nothing wrong with searching for the new and modern way of losing weight, but sometimes it is wise to also take a good look for the old and reliable ways of losing weight that have been used for a long time and have been proved working.
One of the old and reliable ways of losing weight is the Ayurvedic diet or known for vata pitta diet. In the vata pitta diet, the diet is divided based on our body type called the dosha. The body type is our body characteristic that grouped into each and individual type. There are three dosha or three body type that is vata type or air type, pitta type or fire type, and kapha type or water type. If we use this vata pitta diet that based on our body type we will find the right diet for our body that will works much better because it is suitable for our own body type.
The vata body type vata pitta diet
If we have vata body type we usually have thin and slim figure and sometimes we will be difficult if we want to increase our own weight. We will feel cold most of the time, which is why we will like warm weather better and we will be easier to get cold when the fall and winter come. Our skin and hair tends to be dry and we will have a light muscle. Our digestion is poor and sometimes we will get constipations and bloating from time to time.
If we have vata body type, then the best vata pitta diet that we should do is to eat more warm and watery food. Avoid fried and dry food even if just vegetable like salad; instead cook the vegetable into soup and other watery food. Hot milk is very good for vata body type to get them well warm.
The pitta body type vata pitta diet
If we have pitta body type we will have medium build body with good muscle. We will have warm body but we would not have many problems like the vata body type have when we are in a cold environment. The main digestion problem we will have is diarrhea and gastric related problem.
If we have pitta body type then the best vata pitta diet that we could do is to eat a lot of watery vegetable and fruit and avoided hot spices in their food.
The kapha body type vata pitta diet
If we have kapha body type, we will have wide hips and shoulder with strong muscle. But the kapha body type will have sinus and slow metabolism that often lead them to obesity.
If we have kapha body type we should eat a lot of garlic in our food to handle our sinus problem. We should eat a lot of vegetable and fruit that have a lot of fiber and avoid fat, oil, salt and sweets as our vata pitta diet.
